Late last week, the hockey world lost two incredible people who performed at an outstanding level on the ice. Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were taken from us far too early in life in a tragic and indefensible way. After offering their condolences to the Gaudreau family in addition to the Blue Jackets and Flames fanbases, Chris and Dom turn to their normal banter and discussion about the Boston Bruins.

As Captain's practices begin and Jeremy Swayman remains unsigned, we recently learned about a barely used option in the CBA for players to defer salary and save their team against the salary cap.
