The Arts has an immovable function in society in my humble opinion. I may not be at the level of our silent-type 'National Artists' yet, but their legacy will be forgotten at this rate if we don't start hearing from their so called wisdom. Save for a few, I believe the real artist should be naturally aware enough to rise above the societal spoon-feeding of obsolete Orwellian-style leadership methods. Is this not why you were attracted to ideas of artists in the first place? Siguro tanong ko na rin kung ilang artist na ba ang nakilala mong hindi naman pala marunong gumamit ng Maths? (Go count.) Marami-rami... hindi ba? So, ang ibigsabihin lang ng realization na ito ay . . .
