Jacory Harris doesn't want to work hard. He is a man who is Hell-bent on finding the fastest way between where he is and the next level. He is a man whose foundation is built on efficiency. In fact, the man is so determined to be efficient with his efforts, he refuses to use two hands to eat Buffalo wings- stating that the second hand must be left 'on call' for other responsibilities as they arise. From being the state of Florida's "Mr. Football" in 2007 to a 4-year starter at quarterback for the University of Miami, Jacory went on play professionally in the NFL for the Eagles before playing for a myriad of teams with interesting names in the CFL. After professional football concluded for Jacory, he took the mentality of efficiency and quickly went 'all-in' on transitioning out of sport; finding his next passion. Jacory held a series of jobs including modest positions at a restoration company and a Miami-Dade landscape technician, before finally becoming an esteemed member of the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department. Jacory continues to embody the characteristics of a captain which carried him through his athletic career and will undoubtedly catapult him into leadership in the Miami-Dade Fire Department and all his future ventures.
