Or, has your child already been diagnosed with a learning difference and you have no idea how to manage the day to day?

On this episode, I speak with Shannon McNamara, a clinical social worker for 20 years, who specializes in kids with learning differences and helping parents navigate this journey. She has a unique view into the child-parent dynamic as she herself was diagnosed with a learning difference as a child. She focuses on the Connective Parenting philosophy, which is a more inclusive and holistic way of parenting. We get curious about our children's behaviors, and more importantly, how we react to those behaviors, and can identify our own 'buttons' or triggers that might be lending their hand to some of the challenges.
