Today’s episode features Baltimore’s own 10th District City Councilwoman Phylicia Porter! Phylicia is a newly elected Baltimore born and raised public servant for the city’s southern areas including Pigtown, Morrell Park, and Curtis Bay amongst many other neighborhoods. While being a current public servant and the Vice Chair of the South Baltimore Gateway Partnership, she also has vast experience in Public Health and has two Bachleors Degrees in Biology and Biochemistry from Towson University. Join us as we take a look at her amazing journey growing up in Baltimore, attending the infamous Institute of Notre Dame High School, and what inspired her current run in the political arena! Enjoy!
