Listen Later

In this week’s episode I speak to Rachel, mum to a 2 year old boy and newborn daughter. Rachel talks about how she and her husband prepared their son for the arrival of a new sibling, and how it’s going so far. She also shares her experience of going into labour on her last day of work, and the strange phenomenon that the midwives told her was the reason why she went into labour. After having an emergency caesarean for her first birth, Rachel decided that she wanted to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) and she discusses the process she went through for this to be an option, how it went, and compares her two post-birth recovery experiences. Finally, Rachel’s daughter was diagnosed with jaundice after they’d left the hospital and she shares how it was discovered and what they did to help her. Don't miss this conversation!
