I agree with Chandler, Ross needs to shut the hell up because pivoting is not the answer. Repositioning is. If you're running a business and you're constantly pivoting that business, you will never gain traction. I know, because I have done it way too many times.
The real answer is to re-position your business. Because positioning is more about the target audience you're seeking. Not so much changing your entire direction of your business. Take for example, myself, I am about to reposition this podcast intended originally to be a generic business growth podcast by using sales funnels. I am about to change that. This podcast is going to strictly focus on network marketers. Don't lose your shit. Don't freak out. If you're not a network marketer and you hate the industry. I hate it too. I love the industry, but I hate the way people grow their network marketing businesses.
So I am going to be targeting you network marketers. However, I'm going to show you how to outrank your upline by not hosting a single party, not harassing your friends and family. Not asking waitresses, if they're interested in joining a business with you because they are fantastic at their job. They have no idea who the hell you are. But you for whatever reason, think that they want to jump into business with you. This podcast is going to remain about automated sales funnels. But it will be dedicated to helping the network marketer grow by using them. Because that icky feeling, uncomfortable house parties, inviting people over to tell them about this fantastic product and wanting to jump into business about it. Yes, the product is amazing. That's why you joined the company, you saw the opportunity.
Not everybody's an entrepreneur, not everybody wants to jump into business with you. It doesn't work. And I cannot for the life of me understand why the business continues to recruit that way. And trainers teach that way too. It kills me with these generic coaches in network marketing. And then you sign up for their product because they say it's the next best thing. And it's all going to work. And you know, the old methods don't work and bla bla bla, but then they teach you how to use the old methods, but just online, it's, it's ridiculous. And I have fallen for that shit before myself, it's got to end. So you're going to build your army of your team. And people you would like to jump into bed with and start a business with them. Okay. So with that, I am going to discuss repositioning your business rather than pivoting. Again, pivoting is basically changing the business model of your company. Positioning is that basically the the target audience you're going to go after, and the type of clientele you want to work with. And that's what I'm going to do. I love people in network marketing, because they're so positive and full of energy, but they're also full of shit. And we need to fix that. Because hosting a party is not how to grow a global business.
These people that train you on how to grow a global business, do it with local strategies, and then by accident, they hope that somebody on their team knows somebody in a different country. And that's how they go worldwide. Why not just go worldwide, just digitally target people around the world and with automated funnels rather than endlessly doing the same presentation over and over again, recorded once and if it works send it out automatically. You could be in your sleep and somebody around the world in a different time zone can be watching your presentation rather than you having to physically be there. Entrepreneurship is all about time leverage. And if you're not leveraging your time, you're not really an entrepreneur, you have a job that doesn't have a salary attached to it. Let's go deeper into positioning. Positioning is not about changing your business model,
