Dear GUAVABEAN, I replied to an ad looking for writers for ski and snowboarding websites. She sounded like a nice person and asked me to do two test articles for 50$ each. I was okay with that. I picked the topics from her excel sheet, she approved them and I did the job. I wrote the test articles but then she disappeared for months. She has promised to send me feedback a couple of times, but hasn't done that. Today I snapped and just asked about the money. I wanted to ask if there's a way to avoid these situations and how to deal with people who promise to pay and then don't?
