The Kentucky Reptile Zoo is home to one of the largest venomous reptile collections in North America. Kristen explains a day in the life at the zoo including maintenance and venom extractions. We also discuss what the extracted venom is used for, keeping venomous snakes in the private sector and the mindset needed in order to successfully work with deadly animals.
