It all started with an InMail titled “Podcast Guest” back in April.

Life got hectic so I made a mental note to respond, but forgot.

One month later, I reached back out to Brandon Marquez to see if we could set up an interview for his podcast the 2 Americans.

In that episode I share my personal background and discuss the opportunity that lies in social media.

I had no clue that the response would be so huge.

Over 100,000 downloads later and suddenly Work in Progress was #3 on the iTunes top charts under the Arts category.

If I had ignored that InMail, Work in Progress would have missed a valuable opportunity.

But more important than that, Brandon and I would’ve never become friends.

Stay humble and remain open-minded because collaboration is the secret to any successful project.
