The boys are back and fresh off the long holiday weekend ready to talk about what everyone wants to know: what goes on the Thanksgiving plate? Josh and Dante recap their holiday weekends as Josh traveled back home to Baltimore, and was boots on the ground for the Ravens vs. Eagles game, and Dante had himself the most Italian Thanksgiving we’ve ever heard of. As they mentioned last week, Thanksgiving is undoubtedly the most elite holiday of the year, and this year was once again kick started by the Dons capturing their second consecutive Turkey Bowl Trophy. Moving on to the professional game, the Ravens dropped their 5th game of the season this week to the Eagles, losing by a final score of 24-19. This was not a perfect game on a number of fronts, but the worst showing of all this week was, unfortunately, Justin Tucker. The boys are firmly pushing the panic button and asking “what is going on with Justin Tucker?” after 13 consecutive weeks of not being able to put the ball through the uprights. In addition to Tucker, another issue hindering the Ravens’ success this week was the offensive line, and specifically, the play of Patrick Mekari and Daniel Faalele. At this point deep into the season, Dante explains why the blame should fall on someone other than those two individuals. The Ravens outgained the Eagles in all facets of the game, which makes this one even harder to swallow. Dante and Josh take a look at what caused this one to go awry. If there was one silver lining, however, in this contest, it was the fact that the defense has strung together three straight games of really good ball. It was not perfect, but ultimately, one of the boys gives their take on why they believe the defensive effort was enough to get the job done. As the Ravens head into the bye week, they’re faced with a number of questions: what will the line look like following the bye, how will they get over the liability that is Justin Tucker missing kicks and flipping the opponents starting points, and what the hell is going on with Diontae Johnson? With some extra time this week, the boys dive into the college football landscape on the heels of an AWESOME rivalry week. This year’s rivalry week did not disappoint as we had Michigan upsetting Ohio State in Columbus, NC State beating UNC in Chapel Hill, and just about every fight imaginable. Josh gives his take on why college football is the greatest sport in America. The boys wrap up the show with some music talk, tease a potential guest for the coming weeks, and send y’all into the best weekend of your lives. Thank you all for coming back and rocking with us. We love each and every one of you. Cheers!
