131 – Toru Uchikado Interview

 

Ricky and Lilith interview Ren Shimosawa himself Toru Uchikado. Discussion includes going to the Golden Globes, watching the original series and his favourite character, the audition process, Ren being one of the most popular names in Japan, preparation/research into creating the character of Ren, knowing Kiki before getting cast for the show, the first scene shot with Kiki, Ricky tells him his theory about Ren and whether or not he reads the internet for theories on the show, comic books, evernow, trip back to Japan, meeting Masi Oka, the first Heroes Reborn selfie by Zachary Levi, Where Ando?, inspiration from the original series, Hiro and Ren parallels’, what he can tell us about the last two episodes without being “Haitian’d”, and other people in the cast he would have loved to worked with
