She is the co-founder and co-director of McKinney Roots, a non-profit 100% food donation garden that supplies organic, fresh picked fruits, veggies, herbs and eggs to the food insecure in McKinney, TX.
If you would like to volunteer with McKinney Roots or help support them financially, visit mckinneyroots.org and click donate. For $30 a month, you can sponsor a raised bed in the garden. The funds cover the cost of planting and harvesting that bed and their general operating budget.
