Today we discussed the Earth passing 420 parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere, a level not seen in 3.6 million years. We also discussed the lack of formal borders in a global climate crisis, where each country’s emissions have consequences for others. We also discussed Washington State’s desire to save old growth forests through “proforestation” and placing value on living trees and not just dead ones.
