Susan Alcorn has written about her many hikes on the Camino de Santiago trails in Spain and France. She and her husband have also hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, the John Muir Trail. trails in Patagonia and many more. Her newest book is Healing Miles: Gifts from the Caminos Norte and Primitivo. Walkers and hikers on the trails are called pilgrims and the trails are their pilgrimages. In the interview we talk about the Camino trails, where they are, costs, travel arrangements, safety, physical preparation, scenery, and more.
