Dr. Harold Perelson and his wife Lillian, lived in a gorgeous mansion with their three children, Judye, Joel & Debby, in the 1950s. The property, located in Los Feliz, California was the envy of many and the family thought it would be there forever home.

But then, a patent that Dr. Harold was working on was stolen by his business partner and the children were all involved in a car wreck around the same time, leaving a mountain of medical bills and attorney's fees, since Dr. Harold sued his business partner & the driver of the other car, trying to recover money from both incidents.

But what we recovered was barely a portion of the amount spent to re-coop the family's losses, and eventually the family fell into financial woes.

On December 6, 1959, Dr. Harold put forth a plan to get the entire family out of debt and after that night, the house remained basically untouched for the next 60 years.
