We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context.  

In this episode, we begin a new focus to return what God spoke to us back in January and revisit his desire for us as his children to seek him as fine silver and fine gold. The questions of life are difficult. What's even harder is how we choose to respond to our Lord's calling us closer to him when the world and the powers wish to separate us from God and one another. Here we explore James 4:14 among other passages to understand why we remain apart from God's love in this world when we should avail ourselves of it and spread it to others. Where is God when the world hurts? He's in us and desires to work through us to meet the hate with his love in a crucified life that gives what God always intended when the evil prevails.
