NEWS UPDATE: UNC's Board of Trustees has called an emergency meeting at noon EDT today, according to the University Communications website. The purpose of this emergency meeting is "to receive a legal update regarding an athletics matter," according to the site.

The Tar Heels survived a 2OT thriller against App State to move to 2-0 on the season. The close game dropped UNC to No. 20 in this week's AP Poll, but Tyler Hansbrough and Brandon Staton aren't sweating it. Carolina was - and will remain - without No. 1 wide receiver Tez Walker whom the NCAA inexplicably ruled ineligible for the season.
