Jesse Smith is an elementary education teacher based in Orlando, Florida. He teaches social studies which includes early American history and Florida state history for 4th and 5th grade students. He reflects on growing up in Carmel, IN and how his favorite teachers have influenced his teaching style. He recalls working alongside Jimmy at both CHTV and WHJE as an aspiring broadcaster back in high school. JBK & Jesse also talk about the rise of fascism and how this combative political climate is impacting access to quality teachers.
