135 - JAIME ANDREWS - OUR POD "REGULAR" IS BACK - SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS AT GHOULS DAY OUT FEST IN LA...SIOUXSIE...PLUS A NEW MEMOIR COMING SOON...
Hosts Julie Slater and Jason Friday welcome back pod regular guest Jaime Andrews...off the heels of writing/acting in/producing the film Division (streaming for purchase and rental now on Amazon, iTunes, and more)...she just appeared at Ghouls Day Out fest in Los Angeles (she was on the cover of My Chemical Romance's album "Life on the Murder Scene" nearly 20 years ago (album photo here)/this is a fan event for that album)...Jaime also has big news about getting her new memoir published...
Jaime is an actress/writer/producer...besides the film Division, she has put on the stage production about her life called Cookie and the Monster, you've seen her on TV including the shows World’s Dumbest, Good Girls Revolt, recently in an episode of Chicago Fire…and films, too, including: the Sylvester Stallone film Samaritan, Gerard Butler film Greenland…some Baby Genius films…and we love to mention that great Wirlpool commercial…as well as the zero out of five improv group with Julie in NYC called Scrambled Eggs. We chatted about what in the world Ghouls Day Out fest in LA is...how My Chemical Romance fans wanted to pay for her autograph and photos...the Taylor Swift of the Emo world...murder conspiracies around the album...Thousandth Bullet Theory...why other bands album cover people don't do this...how Jaime will probably charge us to stay with us...how her movie Division has been out for three months...how Jaime has been constantly working on other creative things...she talks about her new book about her time growing up - called the Brink...and how it's being published soon...her husband Curt designed Jaime's book cover and the movie poster for Division...book should be out in October...how she is already working on another book...the joys of sleeping and sitting with tea...how Jaime uses ya'll all the time since moving to Atlanta...she's also writing another true crime screenplay...and is God sending lightening bolts for Jaime to see her favorite bands? lol
