Celebrating Little Victories
When you're solely focused on achieving a specific goal, it can be easy to feel like anything less than what you aimed for is not worth celebrating. Maybe you scored a B on a test but you wanted an A. Maybe you were hoping for a 5% raise but were given a 4% raise. While it's good to set impressive goals, we do ourselves a disservice when we fail to recognize our achievements - even if they're different than what we had hoped for.
