Here is my sample Nativity Prayer template:

  • The stable: "Lord, help me make my home a welcoming place for you and a place that glorifies you."
  • The animals: "Jesus, please help me embrace humility in my life, just as you did when you were born in a manger."
  • Mary and Joseph: "As Mary prayed and Joseph obeyed, please help me to follow your will in my life."
  • Infant Jesus: "Gracious Christ, you humbled yourself by taking on human form and being born in a stable. Please be with me this season in a special and enduring way."
  • The angel(s): "As the angels proclaimed peace on earth and goodwill toward all, please help me to spread love and kindness this Christmas season."
  • The shepherds: "Lord, like the shepherds who welcomed you and shared the good news about you, please help me to share your love with others."
  • The wise men (in the scene or at some distance): "As the magi traveled from afar to worship and present their gifts to you, please help me to live a life that is pleasing to you, my Lord and my Redeemer."
