What’s the difference between revelation vs inspiration? In preparation to speak at a stake women’s conference recently, I began to ask the question what’s the difference between revelation and inspiration. I thought about talks that I had heard and read over along with some different articles and I decided to share a podcast with you about revelation vs. inspiration as we journey throughout our lives seeking light! 

Revelation defined by Richard G Scott: “The Holy Ghost communicates important information that we need to guide us in our mortal journey. When it is crisp and clear and essential, it warrants the title of revelation.”  

Inspiration: “The Holy Ghost communicates important information that we need to guide us in our mortal journey. … When it is a series of promptings we often have to guide us step by step to a worthy objective”
