Today I sit down with the co-owners of Tkay studio Kyra & Ash. After years of working together these two hair nerds alway found their visions aligning and together they created their dream space, TKAY studio. From idea to reality they walk us through the entire process of creating this beautiful space.

I loved hearing all the behind the scene scoop of the build. From a run down building to a beautiful hair heaven Ash and Kyra spare no detail. Council, designers, book keepers and more they tell us all the things they wish they knew before starting the journey of creating their own salon.

With over 25 years experience between them this duo is all about chilled vibes and creating incredibly beautiful healthy hair. The team takes the most upmost pride in their work. They constantly strives to create seamless, low maintenance, natural hair colour and styling. All finished with a bubbly smile, some friendly chats and a personalised service from start to finish.
