AJ French is a person living with mental illness while working as the CEO of a Peer Recovery Support group called Gift of Voice. She has struggled with mental illness since she was a child growing up on her farm in Southern Illinois. We discuss just how bad things got for her and what it took to get back on track. AJ has been a mental health advocate for over 15 years and has participated in Federal Suicide Prevention Briefing's at the White House and many state level projects in Illinois.
