Today I’m accompanied by Brittany Ford, biohacking expert and health coach, who after experiencing some seemingly incurable health issues was later able to heal herself through natural mediums, which has led her on a path to helping many others as well. Instead of focusing on one way to improve someone’s health, she looks at the whole picture through holistic health, which focuses on all aspects of a person’s health to gather information, collectively leading to the root of what is causing such health problems. Many people will disregard simple things such as sleep or bowel movement frequency, but don’t realize the impact ignoring this aspect of health is having on things they don’t think are related.

“The way that I define [biohacking] is holistic self-care for optimal health. And so when you break it down, holistic self-care, that basically means that instead of only looking at one aspect of your health, such as nutrition or fitness, we really look at you as a whole. So we look at your sleep, we look at your stress, we look at your relationships, we look at everything that makes you you, and then we say, ‘OK, where are you now, and how can we get you to a more optimal place? For optimal health.’” 4:24
