Is it wrong for a Christian to have self-confidence, to be confident and sure in life? I believe if we keep things in balance, and not live in pride and trust only in ourselves—then yes, I believe a Christian should be confident.
Today, let’s look at where our confidence should be.
Psa 118:8 "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."
Pro 3:26 "For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken."
We can put our confidence in three places: ourselves (self-confident), others (friends, the world, money, etc…), or the Lord. We’re going to look at where we should be putting our confidence.
Note: Recorded for radio broadcast April 14th, 2021.
