Dr. Daniel Amen practices as a psychiatrist and brain disorder specialist as director of the Amen Clinics. He is a five-time New York Times best-selling author as of 2012. Amen has built a profitable business around the use of SPECT imaging for purported diagnostic purposes. He has studied my brain and is an expert on addiction and brain function, and conducts a live therapy session with me this week. I am lucky to call him a friend.
