The History Of The Evergreen State

14- Everett's Ghost Ship- The Equator

Listen Later

Learn about the Equator, which was built as a sailing schooner by the legendary American shipbuilder, Matthew Turner, often called Matthew Schooner.
This is one of the only Matthew Schooner built ships still in existence, and it's said to be haunted.
The Equator also has the distinction of having Robert Louis Stevenson aboard, and was made the first Snohomish County landmark to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
