After finishing The Railway Man in the previous episode James and Elsa picked a film from the filmography of the 2nd Assistant Director Ray Kenny and arrived at Ex Machina.

Ex Machina is Alex Garland's directorial debut and follows a programmer (Domhnall Gleeson) who is invited by his CEO (Oscar Issac) to administer the Turing test to an intelligent humanoid robot (Alicia Vikander).
