In this episode of ViewPoint, I get to sit down with the first and foremost name sought out and associated with gang activity and intervention in the Denver area—Reverend Leon Kelly, Jr.
“The Rev” as he’s called, serves as the Executive Director of Open Door Youth Gang Alternatives, the oldest anti-gang program based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. He provides gang education to schools, other non-profit agencies, law enforcement, and civic groups on how to suppress gang-related violence and recruitment on the streets of our communities in Colorado.
