I’ve asked our brilliant Thrive! community to share their wisdom on morning rituals, and I got some great answers! I hope their responses will give you some great ideas. You might even find that what you’re already doing is affirmed. Marianne, for example, gets up as soon as her alarm goes off without pressing snooze, then makes the bed for an immediate sense of accomplishment. To hear the other six steps of her eight-step process, tune into the episode!
Theresa also wakes up and makes her bed immediately, but adds in a 30-minute soak in the hot tub each morning. How amazing is that! Both ladies so far have a morning ritual that includes down time, and I encourage you not to reach for your phone in the first hour that you’re awake. Be sure to create before you consume!
As you listen to the answers in this episode, I think you’ll start to hear a pattern: most of these high-achievers are accomplishing as much in the first couple of hours in the day as some people get done by the end of the day. If you want to get great things done, take command of your mornings! This will give you so much more bandwidth.
Don’t worry if the responses sound more structured and organized than your mornings are right now. Honesty is so important, and none of us is 100% consistent! Jocelyn, another of the leading ladies who answered the question, acknowledges that she’s not consistent in her practice but does a modified Miracle Morning. Don’t miss this powerful episode that I hope will inspire you to take charge of your mornings and make each day amazing!
