The Unconventional Gal: Forging Your Own Path with Cherry Dollface

14. It Is Better To Have Loved And Lost Than Never To Have Loved At All (but it still f*cking sucks)

Listen Later

This week I have a heavy topic... but it is something that is very real for many people. But don't fret, there are just as many laughs as there are tears in this one. We are talking about losing a partner—whether it’s a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend or just general romantic partner.

My guest is someone familiar with living through illness and the death of a partner. Her husband, Cody, passed away last year after a valiant battle with cancer. I met Amanada around the time that she lost Cody and I have had the honor of being inspired by not only her strength and courage, but also by her sense of humor through the unthinkable. We also take your questions related to dealing with losing a loved one and helping your loved ones cope with the grief of losing their partners.
