After exchanging introductory pleasantries at a chili cook-off, Jenny and I met again and talked. I've been thinking about life and the meaning of it all recently and what do you know, the topic of faith and religion came up during our conversation. I talked about myself more than usual and I cringed at the possibility of having taken attention away from my guest. But I decided to get over myself as I realized it was the connection between Jenny and I that made both of us feel comfortable enough to open up.
