In this week's episode we'll be re-capping both an unsuccessful and a successful hunt from opening week in the state of Maryland with our previous guest Mike Rebert! Mike and I go over the details of what type of terrain, sign and details he keyed in on to achieve success in locating a concentration of deer, and ultimately having success harvesting a buck! Mike also killed a doe the same week, utilizing the same terrain feature. We talk about how bucks will use even the slightest changes in topography to their advantage to move through the woods undetected. We also talk about how keying in on water sources in areas that water is a limited resource can be killer. This was a great conversation with Mike and I hope you all enjoy listening to it!
