One of the key changes in the Crisafulli Government’s approach to fixing Queensland's health system was real time health data.
According to data, the average wait time in a Queensland ED remains at 14 minutes which is the same number from the October to February period meaning not much has changed.
Australian Medical Association of Queensland President Dr Nick Yim told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "I think we do need a system of the data portal to be accurate and transparent and what the patient and clinicians need to make their clinical decision."
"I guess when there's not much change in the wait times in the data portal, that can lead to frustration and we're hearing that, unfortunately, in our emergency department."
