On today's episode of Barber College Success, Crown Cutz Academy founder Craig Charles is talking to Thomas James, also known as Mr. State Exam.

Thomas James is a United States Air Force Veteran turned Licensed Cosmetologist and Barber Instructor.  Before finding his love behind the chair, James graduated from Austin Peay State University with a degree in Political Science.

As a State Board Preparations Instructor, he helped raise his school's license rate to the highest in Tennessee. James has taught on numerous platforms such as Premiere Orlando, Premiere Birmingham, Premiere Philadelphia, Bronner Brothers in Atlanta, International Beauty Show (IBS) New York and IBS Las Vegas.  He has also has worked with the Original Barber Brand "Major League Barbers" all over the United States.
