Constable Akhilesh Kumar, posted in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, has been dismissed from service. The departmental action was taken after a case of fraud came to light against him. The constable was dismissed 14 years later following a revelation made by his uncle. Amroha Police have registered a case against both the uncle and the nephew, and it has been stated that they may be taken into custody if necessary.
