HOW TO LET GO OF THE NEED FOR APPROVAL. We have all been here. You got a promotion and share it with your social circle, only to be disappointed when several friends don't give you the reaction you expected. You post a cute selfie on Instagram and you constantly keep checking the amount of likes and comments. You're not alone and you're not the first! Today we're talking about why we seek approval from others - and how we can stop and look internally for validation.

  • Social media. The "like" addiction.
  • Media and advertising portraying societal norms and expectations.
  • Setting expectations on others without them knowing. Why the expectation, what does it come from?
