Oliver is an experienced board-level MD with extensive leadership expertise in foodservice, hospitality and drink industries. Oliver took up the position of Managing Director at Communisis in June 2019. Prior to this, he was MD at Foodbuy UK & Ireland and the commercial division at Compass Group. He has enjoyed a long career in procurement and commercial roles with a strong track record of delivering revenue and profit growth in B2B businesses. Oliver is an inspirational leader with a reputation for building, aligning and motivating teams to exceed goals.

Oliver shares his ethos for being values and purpose led and how having a compelling reason why has driven him throughout his career. Whenever the reason why is lacking, he finds it difficult to connect with the work and at this point chooses to move to a new challenge.
Oliver thoughtfully shares how he builds winning teams, surrounding himself with a blend of talents and skills and being open to listening to the ideas and opinions of others, shaping the way forward in an empowering way as opposed to through command and control.
