I was excited to have Natalie on because it seems like coal is an under covered topic in the energy world, as many seemed to have forgotten how meaningful coal still is to the overall energy mix globally. 

This episode we discuss the current state of the coal markets. We dive into the ongoing energy crisis in Europe and how coal is continuing to play a large role in energy security for countries now faced with a shortage of Russia natural gas. 

Lastly, we dive into the supply and demand dynamics for thermal coal, and discuss how the rumors of coal’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
