This episode is a bit of a pulse check. With all the disruption flying at us—AI, tech, changing markets—I’m keeping my head up, scanning the horizon, and thinking about what actually matters as we look ahead (but not too far ahead).

Forget five-year plans. I’m talking 12-month windows. That’s as far out as I go with clients right now, because everything is moving that fast. But even in the chaos, I think there are four things—four fundamentals—that will future-proof your business, your work, and even your relevance.

Here they are:

1. Agency – The sense of control, freedom, and choice
2. Convenience – The luxury we now expect as standard (Uber, Amazon, Peloton, you name it)
3. Certainty – The desire to feel grounded, even when everything’s spinning
4. Connection – The human need that even AI is stepping in to meet

I share some real-world stories (like why I always pay tolls even when I don’t have to) and surprising stats (like the fact that AI companionship is now the top use case of AI 😳).

Then I leave you with two questions:

• Can you deliver all four to your clients or team?
• If not, which one can you double down on?
