June 8th, 1989, the quiet Vancouver, British Columbia, suburb of Richmond was shocked when a body was found lying in the yard of an abandoned house. The victim was a 44 year-old pediatric mental health nurse Cindy James. She was lying on her side on the ground, fully clothed, with hands and feet bound behind her back. There was a needle mark in one arm, and an autopsy revealed she died from an overdose of morphine and other drugs, and it was thought to be a suicide!
