This Halloween I have been thinking about how scary the first haunted house was I went to as a kid. I remembered crying and being terrified afterwards, but then the following year, I was excited and wanted to go again! I was still scared, but a little less scared and just did it as it was now familiar to me. That experience is so much like the experience of being an entrepreneur or small business owner. You will always encounter fear and in the beginning, it could be paralyzing and almost unbearable. However, once you step into that fear and experience it just like the haunted house, you start to accept that it's just part of the process and eventually, even get excited about the prospect of what is on the other side of your fear.
