And it's a really, really big red flag that you need to watch out for whether you're a man or a woman, it's really important to watch out for this. I found a really good article about this on health line that I'm going to kind of use as a guide for structuring this and I'm going to link to that article down below because it's a really good resource Healthline did a pretty good job on kind of basically giving you an overview of what love bombing is. I'm going to read a little snippet from the introduction here. When you first meet someone being swept off your feet can feel fun and exciting. Having someone showering you with affection and admiration is especially exhilarating when you're in the beginning stages of a new relationship. Love bombing, however, is another story. It happens when someone overwhelms you with loving words, actions and behavior in a manipulation technique. As a manipulation technique. It's often used to win over your trust and affection so that they can meet a goal of theirs. And then in this article, they go over 10 different examples of love bombing techniques, I'm just going to quickly go over these 10 things so that you kind of get an idea of what this is, um, number one, they lavish you with gifts. Number two, they can't stop complimenting you. Number three, they bombard you with phone calls or text messages. Number four, they want your undivided attention. Number five, they try to convince you that you're soulmates. Number six, they want commitment and they want it now. Number seven, they get upset when you place boundaries. Number eight, they're overly needy. Number nine, you're overwhelmed by their intensity.
