There are more than 2 million people in the UK with a dependence on alcohol. It's difficult to get accurate statistics because many drink at home and often alone, but it is estimated that there are 1.6m alcoholics in the UK, with between 3m and 5m more 'at risk' of developing problems if they continue drinking at current levels.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a very popular program that focuses on helping people with alcohol dependencies. There are many ways to focus on alcoholism, but this podcast is all about what it was like for Jamie going through alcoholics anonymous and how he managed to get his life back on track, step by step.
