The Potsdam Conference was a meeting of the leaders of the Allied powers during World War II, held from July 17 to August 2, 1945, in the city of Potsdam, Germany. The conference was attended by the leaders of the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union, and was held to discuss the post-war settlement of Europe and the future of Germany.
