The United States of America is a grand experiment in exceptionalism. Never before has a nation been built upon Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. It's a brilliant system of governance that allows for mistakes to be made, and then corrected. However the liberals within America's borders see this experiment as having failed, and thus they literally hate the America so many of hold dear.
