The “Left” can most easily be defined as people who compete poorly on merit. Merit requires ambition, commitment & conscientiousness. Testosterone contributes to those attributes, which is why feminists are Leftists. For them to win, they have to subvert merit-based systems. They use shame, cajoling, blackmail and even the law to suppress men’s natural advantages. Plus, liberty most benefits those with social advantages, which is why minorities & weirdos are also Leftists. Leftism hides behind altruism, saying but not truly believing that from each according to their ability, to each according to their need.

Nobody wants to live their lives in the shadow of others. Nobody wants to be thwarted in their career by those more competent and talented than themselves. Striving will compensate for a while, and coping is an acquired skill, but once those have been exhausted, resentment sets in and builds slowly. At some point, naive optimism is replaced by pessimism, then criticism, then perversity; the desire that the gameboard be kicked over rather than continuing as a loser. That’s why the Left is against merit & liberty, and they need censorship to prevent others from finding out. That’s why one of the hallmarks of Leftism is control of the narrative, which means controlling the media, news, education & government. Without dominating all of those areas, the truth will get out, and because controlling everything is an impossible task, Leftism inevitably fails.
