Yesterday I sat thinking about my testimony. And I truly believe that the key to enduring and growing in the gospel of Jesus Christ is to remember. Remember the spiritual experiences that you have had in your life that strengthens your testimony and showed you that God was aware of you and answering your prayers. The book of Mormon mentions the word remember over 200 times. We see over and over again how the children of God forget his hand in their lives. Join me today as I share a few spiritual experiences from the last couple weeks that have helped me remember how much God is aware of all of us and how much light he is pouring down on us. Henry B Eyring 2007 “Tonight, and tomorrow night, you might pray and ponder, asking the questions: Did God send a message that was just for me? Did I see His hand in my life or the lives of my children? I will do that. And then I will find a way to preserve that memory for the day that I, and those that I love, will need to remember how much God loves us and how much we need Him. I testify that He loves us and blesses us, more than most of us have yet recognized”. Helaman 5:12, “12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.”
